A social experiment in spontaneous conversation.

The Experiment

Koguko started as a question: what is left of online conversation when you remove identity? No usernames, no history, no profile photos — just two people matched at random for a single, ephemeral exchange. The experiment explores whether meaningful connection can exist without persistence. Built inside the Hane lab as an ongoing research project in social dynamics and interface design.
